Stavanger Forum is one of Norway's largest conference and exhibition centres. We have modern and flexible facilities, suitable for both small and large meetings, conferences, exhibitions, concerts and banquets.

The centre offers a total of 25 meeting rooms with a capacity from 10 to 1707 persons and exhibition areas of circa 30,000 m2. Our biggest fixed event, ONS exhibition and conference, has approximately 60,000 visitors every second year.

The main hall can be divided into smaller halls, and has the capacity to sit 864 people at long tables. In addition to the centre there is a large, 690 m2 mingling area, "Forum Plaza" providing exciting opportunities for the implementation of larger and more demanding events. Our new Exhibition Hall, Forum Expo, has 5,000 m2 and is a multi purpose space for exhibitions, banqueting, concerts and more. Scandic Forum hotel has 182 rooms located under the same roof as the Stavanger Forum conference centre, in addition to several hotels within close proximity.

History

Stavanger Forum was established in 1999 and is owned by the City of Stavanger and Rogaland County Council. Our history dates back to 1960 when Rogaland Messen AS was established.
Rogaland Messen AS was established in 1960 and served as the city's exhibition and congress organiser. Owners of Rogaland Messen included the Stavanger Municipality (30 %) as well as various local companies, each with small holdings. Among these were Tou Brewery and Felleskjøpet.
The "Stavanger Foundation" was established in 1981 as a joint marketing and operational organisation for activities in fairs, conventions and tourism in Stavanger.
In 1992 the Foundation's structure changed so that the municipality of Stavanger and Stavanger's Industry Association (the merger of the Trade, Craft and Industry associations) were now the founders.
